Position Overview
Under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor provide front line intake services to incoming clients. This position is accountable for reviewing eligibility and program expectations prior to clients meeting with their assigned clinical worker for assessment. This position requires a thorough understanding of the agency's philosophy of treatment, admission process and criteria and have basic knowledge of substance abuse disorder. The individual is responsible for ensuring that clinical and administrative intake services are provided for patients.
Tasks and Responsibilities

Processes paperwork for new clients efficiently and in accordance with protocols.

Obtains pertinent information from new clients by asking them to complete surveys or interviews courteously and professionally.

Assist new client with referrals through case management.

Answers and screens inquiry calls and emails from prospective clients.

Ensures that all admission forms are properly signed and filed.

Communicates with other team members constructively to reduce conflict and enhance the resolution of issues.

Respect’s client or patient dignity and confidentiality.

Always adheres to the facility dress code and appear professional.

Highly motivated self-starter with strong project management, negotiation, facilitation, change-management skills.

Excellent customer service skills; Professional demeanor and networking skill.

Maintains schedule of appointments for counseling sessions and effective and efficient systems for customer follow-up and contact with those that miss appointments.

Submit prior authorization for new residential treatment clients to perspective insurance companies and file the fax response in client file.

Maintain case management documentation and submit documentation in timely manner.

Ordering and stocking office supplies and making purchases as necessary.

Provides in-building technical support to all staff to resolve computer or phone issues that arise. Contacts I.T Support if issues cannot be resolved.

Other duties as assigned.
